You’re not alone in your concern about the management and future of our province’s parks and protected natural areas.  You’re invited to join others who share your concern at a day-long forum organized by CPAWS NL and Nature NL. 

WHEN: Wednesday, May 13th, 2015
WHERE: The Fluvarium, St. John’s

OUTLINE: 

Morning session speakers:
Minister of Environment and Conservation - Honourable Dan Crummell 
Keynote speaker Alison Woodley, CPAWS Conservation Director for Parks, will present a national and global perspective
Nature NL vice-president Douglas Ballam will review the evolution of our provincial system
Parks and Natural Areas Division will provide an update on parks and protected areas

The afternoon session will include panel discussions on terrestrial and marine protected areas, conservation and the role of the public. There will be ample time for questions and answers throughout the day.

Pre-Registration Fee: $30 which includes the cost of lunch (Student Fee $15)
